You must login to access this calendar. Options include: email & password; date of birth & last 5 digits of SS number; or register as a new user.

Once you are logged in, click on ‘Calendar’ on left-hand side.

To access Out-of-School Time professional development, click on ‘Detailed Search’ and beside ‘Audience:’ choose ‘School-age providers.’ You can also choose many other parameters to make the search relevant to your needs.

Afterschool Alliance
To find out what is happening in PA, click on ‘Afterschool in Your State’ in the left-hand column. The resulting ‘Policy & Action Center will provide you with information about PA as well as federal issues which may effect you or your program.
The ‘take action’ guides you on how to send messages to congress regarding the importance of afterschool. Be an advocate!

Click on ‘Lights on Afterschool’ in the left-hand column to obtain information on how to register your program and many other helpful tools for making the day a success. You can also find what events are planned in PA under ‘find an event.’

The Partnership for Families & Children

The Partnership for Families & Children, a Denver-based nonprofit organization, has developed the Youth Development Institute which provides front-line youth workers with easily accessible, quality online training in working with youth. YDI offers more than 17 one- to two-hour courses on topics such as cultural competency, working with girls, adolescent development, positive approaches to discipline, inclusion of youth with special needs, and more.
